I was starting the school year alone, in a place where I knew absolutely no one. However, I quickly realized it wasn’t as scary as I thought. I made new friends quickly, learned to play the flute, and even joined the cheerleading team. I’m telling this story for parents whose kids might be in a similar situation. Don’t take that growth for granted, but never forget that the growth can happen in the background, and never let it stop you from enjoying your youth. Stay focused but have fun, and hopefully this school year is gonna be a great one for you!”
