So grab your sunglasses, gather your crew, and let’s kick off the season… it’s time for The Rundown!on Friday from 11 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Enjoy a captivating gallery talk exploring one featured work from the museum’s permanent collection. It’s a fun and easy way to experience art in a whole new way.! Sam Yu from Zizi’s Bee Company will share his beekeeping expertise and discuss the important role bees play in gardening and the environment.

Whether you’re interested in starting your own hive or simply want to learn more about pollinators, this free workshop is perfect for gardening enthusiasts and curious beginners alike. Plus, attendees may even take home bee-friendly plants or seedsfor teens ages 13 to 18 on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Gunter Pool. Enjoy a high-energy day filled with music from a live DJ, games, swimming, water activities, refreshments, and surprise attractions throughout the day.

So, grab your friends, bring your sunscreen, and get ready for a fun-filled start to summer! , will host a balloon release to promote resources, workshops, educational information and more on Saturday starting at 10:30 a.m. Pack your lawn chair, picnic baskets, bring your family and friends for an evening under the stars with the Montgomery Symphony Orchestra as they play classic patriotic tunes on the lawn of the Alabama Department of Archives..
