Rochester, N.Y. Three suspects are facing weapons charges following an investigation that lasted over a month.
An AR-15 style rifle and two loaded 9mm ghost guns with extended magazines were recovered during a traffic stop on Norton Street June 20, 2024. Three suspects are now facing charges. It started June 20 around 2 a.m., when officers tried to make a traffic stop on Norton Street. The suspect car quickly pulled into a driveway and all three occupants fled the scene by foot, police said.
Investigators were able to identify the occupants of the suspect vehicle as 23-year-old Carlos Alvarez, 18-year-old Jhamir Duval and 23-year-old Wincette Richards.
