CLEVELAND, Ohio - The Lake View Cemetery announced Monday that the beloved Daffodil Hill will experience a significantly reduced bloom this spring. According to a release, the daffodil bulbs have reached the end of their natural life cycle and are no longer able to produce the full, vibrant blooms that visitors have come to expect.

This has impacted the overall growth and display this season, and as a result, visitors should anticipate a more subdued showing compared to years before.Daffodil Hill has been a long cherished spring destination, the release said, and it draws visitors from across the region to experience the vibrant, seasonal display. This fall, Lake View plans to renew the hill with new daffodil bulbs including Arkle, Carlton, Dutch Master and Ice Follies, and the staff is committed to the long-term care and restoration of Daffodil Hill.
