Darian Speer is a film and television journalist. In May 2024, she earned her B.A. in English with a minor in film studies at Regis University in Denver, Colorado. Not only does she have a deep passion for writing, but also films and cinematography.
While earning her degree, she wrote two articles for Regis's English department newsletter and discovered a liking for journalism. Hence, she began the journey that has led to her career today. In her final year at Regis, she also wrote and published a research thesis titled"Female Empowerment, Struggles, and Romance in Pop and Rock Music ." This 70-page research thesis analyzes the history of women musicians in the pop and rock genres and how they have incorporated feminist topics into their work based on the feminist wave, emphasizing Taylor Swift. It explains how she is so popular right now. Darian hopes to continue utilizing the research and analytical skills she developed during this project for all her film and television articles. Along with being a film and television journalist, Darian is a published poet and photographer. As she studies and writes about movies and series, she hopes to continue her creative writing path and publish more of her work.I love period pieces and romance, and this story eloquently incorporates both of those.. It depicts the life of Jesus Christ's disciples and is very heartwarming to watch.Universe to the 1980s slashers. I love writing about them, as horror is a pretty underrated genre and deserves more recognition.
