The University Circle police chief has written a book on the challenges faced by officers across the nation.

UNIVERSITY CIRCLE, Ohio - The University Circle police chief has written a book on the challenges faced by officers across the nation.

“It should be in the hands of every supervisor and anyone who desires to lead today’s Angels in Blue,” said Chief Wetzel. According to Chief Wetzel, we are facing a pending crisis when it comes to recruitment and retention of officers.

“It is also a book that the public will enjoy as it gives them an inside look on what needs to happen to help the public servants they pay for to achieve levels of excellence in their service to others,” said Chief Wetzel. Chief Wetzel has a book signing on May 30 at 10:30 a.m. at the Willoughby library.
