A career fair will be held at the San Diego International Airport, providing job opportunities for skilled professionals in various categories such as retail, janitorial services, parking management, baggage handling, and car rentals.
player ready... The San Diego International Airport , for the first time, will host a wide-ranging career fair Wednesday when dozens of jobs will be available, from positions at federal agencies to airlines and restaurants.
The jobs fair, which will be held from 10 am to noon at San Diego City College, “A” Building Patio, 1313 Park Blvd. , is being put on in collaboration with the airport’s tenants and partners along with the San Diego Workforce Partnership. Among the various categories of jobs are retail, janitorial services, parking management, baggage handling and car rentals.
In all, there are 34 companies and agencies participating, among them Flagship, HMSHost, McDonald’s, the Port of San Diego, San Diego Metropolitan Transit System, Southwest Airlines, Turner Construction Co. and TSA. Free parking will be available on campus during the jobs fair, when parking enforcement will be suspended. Bring multiple copies of your résumé. Some employers may extend same-day job interviews and/or offers.
