President Trump confirms the couple's initial plans for a White House wedding, but ultimately prioritizes his responsibilities in Washington, D.C.
Bettina Anderson and Donald Trump Jr. tied the knot in a ceremony on a private island in the Bahamas on Saturday. The couple said “I do” in front of an intimate group of approximately 40 people that included his five children, as well as his famous siblings, Ivanka, Eric and Tiffany Trump, and their spouses.

However, they plan on doing a larger celebration with friends and extended family later this year, possibly at the White House. “While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so,” the Commander in Chief “I feel it is important for me to remain in Washington, D.C. , at the White House during this important period of time.
” Page Six exclusively revealed in December that Trump Jr., 48, and Anderson, 39 — whose mother is Palm Beach philanthropist Inger Angerson and father is late banker Harry Loy Anderson Jr. — . And after we published the story, video emerged of the president announcing the betrothal at the White House later that evening.

Anderson and Don Jr. started dating in December 2024, as his engagement to his former fiancée Kimberly Guilfoyle, 55, ended.that Don Jr. and the former Fox journalist had split, then-President-elect Donald Trump named Guilfoyle as US ambassador to Greece.at the time, “Kimberly and I will never stop caring for each other and will always keep a special bond. ”Anderson was previously engaged to chewing gum heir Beau Wrigley. She has never been married.
