STARK COUNTY , Ohio - The Stark County Human Trafficking Task Force participated in the statewide coordinated sting on suspects allegedly seeking to buy sex.
On Thursday, Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost announced a total of 122 people were taken into custody during ’Operation Spring Cleaning. ’The Stark County Human Trafficking Task Force arrested nine men.

“When people try to exploit the vulnerable in our community, we will be there waiting,” Sheriff Weisburn said. “We will continue to work locally, as well as with our state partners, to hold offenders accountable. ” “Our mission has always been simple: stop the demand that fuels exploitation,” Chief Brink said.
“Arrests like these help protect those at risk and strengthen the safety of our community. ”
