Are you a fiend for affordable fare? Swig ’s 15th anniversary celebration this weekend may just be right up your alley. This Saturday, April 12, the Utah -founded dirty soda shop is honoring its 15th year in business by selling pink sugar cookies for $1 each, as well as mini cookie cups for $2 each.
Swig fans can choose between two different flavors when ordering the shop's mini cookie cups — chocolate chip and birthday. “Whether you’ve been with us since the beginning or you’re giving our cookies a try for the first time, we can’t wait to see you at Swig,” said Swig founder Nicole Tanner, who established the shop in April 2010. The popular beverage and snack shop gained attention in San Antonio after the season one release of Hulu’s “Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” , a reality TV-show in which a group of of Mormon mom influencers on TikTok routinely enjoyed Swig’s dirty sodas as part of their daily routine. It’s a lot to take in. We know. But do you know what’s not a lot? The price of Swig’s cookies on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to close. Each customer may order up to 12 cookies or cookie cups in total, so come prepared to have a sweet time. “We’re excited to celebrate 15 years of Swig with our customers who made it all possible,” Tanner said. “This is a way to say thank you and share a little sweetness with everyone.”
