Jujutsu Kaisen's third season has cemented the franchise as one of the best shōnen series ever made. It ended in March, and it's already made a serious claim for the title of best anime of 2026. Out of every character in Jujutsu Kaisen, there isn't a man more famous than Satoru Gojo.
He's arguably the strongest character in the series, the most charismatic, and someone who can change the world on his own. Notably, Gojo didn't make a single appearance in the third season. He's been sealed in the Prison Realm since the Sibuya Incident Arc, and fans across the world are wondering: When is Gojo coming back to Jujutsu Kaisen? Jujutsu Kaisen Is Absurdly Good Jujutsu Kaisen has always been a good series, but the third season has taken the anime to a level that nobody could have seen coming. The first season was solid, the second season was even better, and somehow, the third season has taken the franchise to entirely new heights. The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen animated the first part of the Culling Games arc, one of the best arcs in Jujutsu Kaisen. The Culling Games features characters like Yuji, Megumi, and Yuta dive deeper into battle than ever before, facing off against some of the strongest characters that the series has ever showcased. The Culling Games is a great arc because of how much screen time it gives to side characters. Yuji, Yuta, Megumi, Hakari, and Maki all play major roles in the arc when they normally wouldn't. They've been forced to handle these major threats because their senior hasn't been able to. Satoru Gojo is a living deterrent. He is so outlandishly strong that he's kept the forces of evil away just by existing, and he's even forced the higher-ups of Jujutsu Society to stay their hands. His absence has been glaring, however, and unfortunately, it looks like he won't be back any time soon. Satoru Gojo Will Be Back in Season 4 of Jujutsu Kaisen Satoru Gojo's reintroduction into Jujutsu Kaisen will be biblical. He's known as the strongest Sorcerer of the modern-era for a reason, and while he didn't make an appearance in the third season, season four will be his. The third season of Jujutsu Kaisen ended by adapting part of Chapter 181 of the manga, titled"Tokyo No. 2 Colony, Part 1." Satoru Gojo's reappearance isn't actually far away, as he comes back in Chapter 221 of the manga, titled"Gain and Loss." Season 3 of Jujutsu Kaisen animated 43 chapters of the manga, meaning Gojo will most likely come back at the very end of season 4.
