Pittsford, N.Y. — Jeff Liles, an education professor at St. John Fisher University, delivered his final lecture before retirement Thursday.Liles gave the first lecture of his career 40 years ago to an eighth-grade social studies class in Oklahoma."I wanted to ensure that you know that your teaching, what you've done, mattered," Bradley told him."I won an award this year, and I felt like that was a walk-off home run — an award for teaching," Liles said.
