Most spots will see high temperatures close to 40 degrees, which will continue to promote melting and evaporation. Any moisture left on the ground today will freeze over again late tonight.MONDAY NIGHT/TUESDAY MORNINGModels are hinting at a band of more widespread snow showers developing after midnight.
TUESDAY NIGHT/WEDNESDAY MORNINGA similar scenario will replay overnight Tuesday night into Wednesday morning. Scattered snow showers will accumulate in spots overnight, leading to another potentially slick Wednesday morning commute.THURSDAY AND BEYONDThe low pressure system will finally move out of the area to the east later this week, leading to drier conditions. Temperatures will slowly warm for Super Bowl weekend, but will remain about 10 degrees below average.
