Right now on Prime Video, Rebecca Ferguson fans are celebrating the release of the first official trailer for Dune: Part Three by taking another of her 2026 projects to the streaming summit. Released earlier this year, the sci-fi thriller Mercy stars Ferguson alongside Chris Pratt in a tale of one man's attempt to prove his innocence against an AI judge.
Sadly, the film disappointed critics and audiences alike, earning poor reviews and grossing just $54 million against a reported $60 million budget. Despite this poor box office run, Mercy has become a streaming hit and is currently the most-watched movie on Prime Video. However, snapping at Mercy's heels and attempting to overthrow the current throne-holder is a brand-new arrival being described as John Wick meets Mean Girls. Pretty Lethal, by writer Kate Freund and director Vicky Jewson, follows five ballerinas who find themselves in a terrifying fight for survival. The film stars Uma Thurman, who continues her return to the action genre after last year's The Old Guard 2, as well as To All the Boys I've Loved Before's Lana Condor, Millicent Simmonds , Iris Apatow , Maddie Ziegler , Avantika , and Michael Culkin . At the time of writing, Pretty Lethal is the second most-streamed movie on Prime Video in the U.S., and the third most-streamed movie worldwide on the platform. With an average score of 61% on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, the response to Pretty Lethal has been mixed but leans toward thepositive. For Collider, Ross Bonaime reviewed the movie, awarding it a 6/10 score."Pretty Lethal is at its best when it’s a straightforward film about bloody fights and survival. This isn’t the most complex concept, and when the movie tries to include unnecessary details, it stops the narrative dead in its tracks," Bonaime wrote. He continued: "Yet when these five tough badasses use their skills as dancers to fight wave after wave of enemies, Pretty Lethal is a pretty good time. This isn’t going to be the next John Wick, but it's certainly an enjoyable, often unexpectedly grisly action film and a solid way to spend 90 minutes." 6 10 Pretty Lethal Like Follow Followed R Action Thriller Release Date March 25, 2026 Runtime 88 minutes Director Vicky Jewson Writers Kate Freund Producers Kelly McCormick, Mike Karz, Piers Tempest, Bill Bindley Cast
