We’ve teamed up with DHR in Mobile and Baldwin counties, along with community partners for ‘Operation Backpack’) - FOX10 News is committed to making sure all students are prepared for the first day of school. And that’s why we’re making a final push for supplies to help those in need.
Making sure that kids in our area have everything they need for a successful school year. That’s the goal of FOX10′s Operation Backpack. Along with several partners, we’ve been collecting school supplies and backpacks that will help children under the protection of the Department of Human Resources“It was rewarding to us to see the response and ultimately it was quite a big box. It took about three or four trips to come in here. Again, we’re very happy to do this for such a great cause,” Desi Tobias with Tobias & Comer Law, LLC
“We’re really lucky that we have a great subcontractor and vendor base here in Mobile, and they’ve really shown up along with our employees who provided a great deal of supplies for our community. So, super proud of those including Thompson Engineering who provided probably a little over half of this stuff. So they’re a fantastic partner,” White-Spunner Construction Senior Marketing Specialist, Emily Schultz said.
