Number of flood evacuees drop in Johor FMTNews
PETALING JAYA: The number of flood victims in Johor continued to decline with 37,503 people seeking shelter in 119 temporary flood relief centres in three districts as of 8pm today, Bernama reported.
“The highest number of victims are in Batu Pahat with 37,114 people, followed by Muar , Segamat and Tangkak ,” the state disaster management committee said in a statement.The reading at Bekok Dam in Sungai Bekok is now at 19.39m and Sungai Senggarang in Senggarang while Sungai Muar in Bukit Kepong recorded a reading of 3.33m.Subscribe to our newsletter and get news delivered to your mailbox.
