Fans of Trans-Siberian Orchestra (TSO) have options this holiday season.
In addition to TSO ’s Cleveland show later this month, Normandy High School’s winter concert -- featuring the popular touring act’s seasonal music -- takes place at 7 p.m. Dec. 17 at the Pleasant Valley Road school.
“We did a show with him last year that went so well we decided to do it again. It’s just a very quality show, the kids really shine. It’s a real professional production.”The evening begins with sets by the high school jazz band and polka band followed by a Disney song set, the drumline and eventually the TSO set performed by more than 100 students featuring full string, drum and band sections.
“I’m really excited about joining the Normandy High School orchestra for the second year in a row,” said Zaza, who a few days later will be staging his magical Mozart-meets-Jimi Hendrix Christmas show “One Silent Night” at the Goodyear Theater in Akron.
