A police vehicle was also involved in the crash.

A crash in Louisiana left a C7 Corvette wedged underneath the cab of an 18-wheeler last week. Despite the terrifying scene, everyone involved managed to escape without any major injuries, police said. The crash occurred on I-49 North in DeSoto Paris on the morning of October 5, police said. A Chevy Tahoe from the DeSoto Parish Sheriff's Office was also hit during the incident. It's unclear what caused the crash.

Cleanup crews remained on the scene through the morning to clean up the mess and reopen the road. Thankfully, the C7 Corvette seems to be as tough as it is fast. The cab of an 18-wheeler can weigh over 20,000 pounds. A C7 Corvette coupe tips the scales at around 3,400 pounds. Physics clearly favors the truck in any type of collision. And what we see here is one heck of a collision.
