m. According to investigators, the owner arrived to check on the property and found a male victim, identified as 36-year-old Dekevin Louis, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The shooting has left investigators with more questions than answers, as police confirmed they received no ShotSpotter alerts or 911 calls reporting gunfire in the area overnight. "There’s so many unknowns," said Sgt. Albert, a CPD public information officer. "We don’t want to leave any piece of evidence behind, so this will take quite a few hours for our detectives to go through the scene." While the building's official status remains under investigation, police and local residents described the location as an unregulated after-hours club.
