Michael Thompson, 66, was killed Wednesday, Dec. 4, in his home on North Sixth Street in uptown Harrisburg . Police said he was randomly stabbed to death by a woman with gardening tools. Tajyeiah Greer, 29, stabbed Michael Thompson to death around 5 p.m. inside his home on the 2700 block of North Sixth Street in uptown Harrisburg , according to police and the Dauphin County coroner’s office.
Harrisburg police said they were called around 5 p.m. to the area of North Sixth and Wiconisco streets for a report of a woman, covered in blood, running through the streets.Multiple homes and at least one vehicle in the area were still blocked off with police tape as of 9 p.m. Wednesday. The area has been fully reopened as of Thursday morning.
