An Ohio man is accused of murdering his grandmother days before allegedly killing a Cleveland police officer.
Prosecutors say Hardy then fled the scene on his grandfather’s bicycle. A family member found Porter the next morning and she was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead days later. As officers tried to arrest Hardy, prosecutors allege that he fired four shots, one of which struck Ritter, who was pronounced dead after he was taken to the hospital.Hardy was subsequently indicted on three counts of aggravated murder, two counts of attempted aggravated murder, one count of murder, four counts of felonious assault, among several other lesser charges, according to a copy of the indictment reviewed by PEOPLE.
