Thousands were reporting issues early Tuesday morning with a popular tech site. According to downdetector.com, reports of user outages began around 5 a.m. ET Tuesday, growing steadily throughout the morning.
As of 8:30 a.m., more than 1,000 people were still reporting problems. A quick test with a prompt didn't yield results around 9 a.m.It’s unclear if the technology is experiencing an outage, and what may be causing it. OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, hasn’t said publicly yet if the technology was experiencing issues Tuesday morning. FOX Television Stations reached out to the company for info.
