Giants interview Dolphins’ Robert Prince for offensive coordinator role — years after viral Jalin Hyatt momentJon Runyan Jr. knows what Giants can expect from John Harbaugh better than anyone Wilson, who was the Titans’ defensive coordinator the last two seasons, was the Ravens’ defensive backs coach under Harbaugh in 2023. Horton first joined Harbaugh’s coaching staff in 2014 as an assistant special teams coach and was promoted to coordinator in 2019. He overlapped on the Ravens staff with Minter but Minter must have had a different idea in mind in order to let Horton out of his contract. It won’t be Horton’s first experience with the Giants but it should last longer than his last one.Horton played for Washington from 2008-10, sat out the 2011 season and signed with the Giants during the 2012 offseason. He was cut at the end of training camp under Tom Coughlin. The Giants let go of special teams coordinator Michael Ghobrial, who held the job for the last two seasons under head coach Brian Daboll. Kick coverage became a growing problem as the season progressed. The Giants special teams – particularly issues related to having healthy kickers available on gameday – became a big problem during the Daboll era. Graham Gano and Jamie Gillan are signed for 2026 and long snapper Casey Kreiter is a free agent. Horton worked with rookie kicker Tyler Loop this season and oversaw punter Jordan Stout’s development into a First-Team All-Pro.Joseph Staszewski
