But don’t get too comfortable with the warmth. A weak cold front moves through Friday night and into Saturday morning, bringing noticeably cooler air for the weekend. Expect highs to drop from the middle 80s Friday to the middle 70s for both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Saturday will start mostly sunny to partly cloudy with north winds at 10-15 mph, turning northeast by afternoon. Sunday will be similar with partly cloudy to partly sunny skies and highs in the middle 80s.The combination of dry air, gusty winds, and ongoing drought conditions will create an increased risk for wildfires to start and spread Saturday.If you’re planning any outdoor activities, be mindful of fire safety and keep an eye on conditions throughout the day.Good news for those who prefer warmer weather — temperatures head back in a warmer direction next week. Rain chances remain low throughout the period, though a few stray showers are possible Tuesday and Wednesday with only a 20% chance of precipitation each day.
