Due to low temperatures, the City of Dothan will open its recreation centers as warming stations during normal operating hours. The Christian Mission Center in Enterprise will also be open as a warming station.
DOTHAN , Ala. (WTVY) - Due to forecasted low temperatures this week, the City of Dothan announced its recreation centers will be open as warming stations during normal operating hours.The city asked anyone visiting the warming centers to check in with building staff on arrival. Visitors will be directed to an area for rest and warmth. All centers will close at their normal times.
In Enterprise, the Christian Mission Center at 231 Geneva Highway will also be opening their doors as a warming station from 8 a.m. to noon on Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. during each night of extreme cold beginning Monday for those wishing to stay overnight on provided beds (based on availability).and receive the latest local news and weather straight to your email every morning.
