Santoni launches its new 'One of One' bespoke shoe program and customization offering for its clients looking to personalize their footwear.
Called “One of One,” the tiered program offers clients the chance to create their own shoes from start to finish. Each level offers some sort of personalization — from the highest level of truly’s signature styles through the choice of materials, colors and selected details; “One Live,” an in-store, real-time service, and “One Forever,” which focuses on ongoing care and attention to the shoes over time.
noted that the program is a chance to bring “dialogue, time and human touch” back to the center of the shopping experience.“Today, more than ever, luxury clients are seeking experiences that feel personal, meaningful and lasting,” Santoni told WWD and FN. “‘One of One’ is our answer to that desire — a program that celebrates individuality while honoring the craftsmanship and human connection that have always defined Santoni.” At the highest tier, “One of a Kind” begins with a dedicated consultation alongside a bespoke manager and a master artisan, during which eight precise measurements of the foot are recorded, including length, width, sole circumference, instep circumference, entry measurement, heel dimensions, ankle profile and ankle height. From these measurements, an individual wooden last is sculpted and personalized with the client’s name. Two fittings are then made with the client, with the entire process spanning 16 to 20 weeks. This level of service starts at $8,000 for the first pair, with additional pairs starting at $5,600. As for Santoni’s made-to-order tier, “One Yours” offers 10 customizable shoe models for men and women in signature leathers including Origine, a natural full-grain calfskin; Seta, a lightweight suede with a silky feel; Ultratouch, an extra- fine calfskin of exceptional softness. Together, there is more than 130 material and color combinations for the client to select.on offer include the Ira double-buckle shoe and the Carlo loafer for men. And for women, the Sibille pump is available for personalization in a select range of lambskin napa leather, Seta soft reverse calf suede and exotic leathers. According to Santoni, the “One Yours” process takes about 12 weeks from start to finish and costs an additional 30 percent more than the retail price of the base shoe. What’s more, by the end of 2026, Santoni noted that this experience will extend further with a fully integrated online configurator tool that allows clients, in four steps, to configure their desired model. “The online experience has been conceived not merely as a configurator, but as a curated digital journey designed to help clients visualize the product with greater clarity and confidence as they shape their personal vision,”. “The key challenge lies precisely here: luxury made-to-order is not simply a technical exercise, but an emotional and relational journey. The goal is not to replicate the boutique experience, but to amplify it.”Moving on to “One Live,” this is the company’s in-store customization experience that offers clients the option to emboss initials on small leather goods in just 15 minutes or to reimagine the Carlo and Carla loafers with a selection of interchangeable tassels, nine for men and nine for women. Throughout the year, additional curated drops will extend the interchangeable offering, the company noted. And lastly, “One Forever” is Santoni’s after care service designed to preserve each shoe season after season. Services under this tier include polishing and replacing worn out soles.Overall, though, Santoni added that this new “One of One” program is part of a broader brand strategy to engage clients across every physical and digital touchpoint. “By placing the customer at the center, we aim to transform each interaction into a meaningful exchange that fosters trust, emotional connection and a sense of co-creation,” Santoni said. “Our hope is that clients feel invited into the creative process itself — not simply purchasing a product, but participating in the creation of something unique that reflects their own identity.” Santoni’s new “One of One” program is now available in select flagship boutiques and through its trunk show offering..
