Published: Dec. 11, 2024 at 8:32 AM ESTCLEVELAND, Ohio - City officials will have warming center s open on Wednesday and Thursday for residents in need of shelter.Collinwood Recreation Center, 16300 Lakeshore Blvd.All four shelters will be open from 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.Anyone who needs overnight shelter, should call 211.
The city said they will continue to monitor for frigid temperatures and will extend community center hours as necessary. Unless otherwise specified, the centers will return to their normal business hours starting Friday, December 13. The Emergency Overnight Shelter located at 111 East Voris St. will be open tonight and tomorrow night . The shelter operates between 7p.m. and 8 a.m.The centers will operate as follows:Hours of operation: Wednesday, Dec. 11, 8:00 p.m. to Thursday, Dec. 12, 8:00 a.m.Refuge of HopeGuests must enter through door #4. Food and water will be available.any regular bus stop to the Cornerstone Transit Center on Cherry Ave. SE.
Riders will notify drivers they are en route to a warming center and there will be no fee. If traveling to the CrossroadsIf transportation is needed when SARTA is not available, please call the City of Canton dispatch at 330.649.5800.
