Northeast Ohio's forecast for Thursday calls for lake-effect snow.
The National Weather Service’s forecast calls for highs around 30 and windy conditions throughout the day. Many areas could see 2-4 inches of fresh snow with higher totals in areas where lake effect snow bands set up in primary and secondary snow belts. Snow chances will diminish later in the day with overnight lows dropping back into the mid 20s. Six to ten inches of snowfall is possible along with wind gusts near 50 mph near the lakeshore. In addition, ais in effect for Lorain and Medina Counties until 4 a.m. Friday. Areas will see strong wind gusts and 3-6 inches of snowfall.Friday night will be cloudy and cold with lows around 20 degrees.
