Ogden police said a 14-year-old driver fled from officers in a stolen vehicle on Friday night, crashing into another vehicle with eight occupants. That vehicle had two adults and six children, one of whom was ejected and died from their injuries. A total of nine people were injured in the crash between the two vehicles.Loved ones described the vigil as a moment of unity, remembrance and prayer, coming together in love to honor a life taken too soon and to lift up those still healing., the family said they are facing unimaginable grief after losing a child, while several others continue to recover from serious injuries and surgeries. They are also coping with mounting medical and funeral expenses.“It’s sad, and I feel for the family,” Avila said. “I can feel it myself because I have 11-year-old grandsons.
