Cleveland restructured the two-time Defensive Player of the Year’s contract last week, leading to scuttlebutt that he could be on the move.
The Browns and Myles Garrett agreed to restructure the two-time Defensive Player of the Year’s contract late last week, a move that's led some to speculate exactly what it means., “provides some cap flexibility for the team going forward by adjusting when the defensive end’s option bonuses will be paid out in 2026, ‘27, and ‘28 .
.. in a way that has a benefit to Garrett.” What it's also done, however, is stoked the fire on the seemingly endless trade rumors surrounding him., the restructure gives Cleveland the ability to either spend more money or the option to potentially trade Garrett outright.
