FAIRBANKS, Alaska - Alaska is set to begin using a new security tool for driver’s licenses and identification cards, according to a press release from the Alaska Department of Administration .
These steps, according to the release, will provide protection from counterfeiting, because polycarbonate cannot undergo alterations without noticeable damage.
