Two people are each facing 25 counts of animal cruelty following an investigation in Wayne County.

From Tuesday morning through Wednesday evening.The Wayne County Sheriff's Office said it executed a search warrant at a home on Marbletown Road in Arcadia and found 25 dogs living in the home, which was entirely covered in animal feces and urine.
All of the animals were seized and brought to the Wayne County Humane Society. Meghan Vitaro, 24, and Dominic Vitaro, 80, both of Palmyra, were arrested Friday for depriving the dogs of "necessary sustenance by confining/sheltering them in an unsanitary environment," the sheriff's office said. Both were released from custody and issued appearance tickets.
