Authorities are searching for two Los Angeles County women who have been missing for a few days, including one woman who is considered “at risk.” Yvonne Firman and Edelmira Firman went missing on Thursday, March 26, when they were both last seen in the area of Cadbrook Drive in La Puente, according to two news alerts from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

La Puente is about a 20-mile drive east from Los Angeles. Yvonne, 55, and Edelmira, 86, are related, Los Angeles County Deputy Miesha McClendon confirmed to Us Weekly via email on Monday, March 30. Yvonne and Edelmira’s family members are said to be “concerned” for their well-being, according to the sheriff's department. Edelmira is listed as “at risk” on her missing persons poster, which also notes that she has an unspecified mental health condition. Yvonne and Edelmira are believed to be together in a white Toyota 4 Runner, according to authorities. A photo of the vehicle, with the California license plate 8XKA629, was shared by the sheriff’s department. Yvonne is described as being Hispanic, having brown hair and eyes, standing 5-foot and weighing 149 pounds, according to authorities. The sheriff’s department described Edelmira as Hispanic, having brown hair and eyes, 4-foot-11, and 138 pounds. She was wearing a “green short sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and light pink shoes” when she disappeared, authorities said. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has not released further information on what led to the women’s disappearances. The agency is asking anyone with information on their whereabouts to call the sheriff’s department’s Missing Persons Detail at 890-5500. Anonymous tips can also be called in to Crime Stoppers at 222-TIPS , according to the sheriff’s department.
