Two of Quentin Tarantino's biggest and most beloved movies are officially set to make their way to Peacock beginning today.
2012’s Django Unchained and 1992’s Reservoir Dogs are both available today on Peacock. Both films are revered as some of Tarantino’s best works, and now they can both be watched on the same streaming service.
Originally released in 2012, Django Unchained stars Jamie Foxx, Christoph Waltz, Leonardo DiCaprio, Kerry Washington, Samuel L. Jackson, Walton Goggins, and more. The film follows the story of an enslaved man who trains under a German bounty hunter in order to try to reunite with his wife. The movie received critical acclaim and was also nominated for several awards. At the 85th Academy Awards, the film saw Christoph Waltz win an Oscar for Best Supporting Actor and Tarantino take home an award for Best Original Screenplay. The film was also nominated for Best Picture. Reservoir Dogs was released in 1992 and was Tarantino’s feature-length directorial debut. The movie followed a group of eight men planning to rob a jewelry store and the aftermath. The movie stars Harvey Keitel, Tim Roth, Chris Penn, Steve Buscemi, Lawrence Tierney, and Michael Madsen. The film was not a smash hit upon its release, but it is often regarded as a cult classic following its release.
