The Ice Cream Man poster and release date have been unveiled for Eli Roth's newest horror movie, starring Orphan Black star Ari Millen.
In addition, the key art poster has also been revealed, featuring the titular villain’s ice cream truck with a warning tagline, “Watch Out For Children.” “The film follows an idyllic summer town descending into madness when an ice cream man serves kids sweet delights with horrifying results,” reads the synopsis.
.Roth’s Ice Cream Man is now scheduled to arrive in theaters on August 7, 2026, pitting it directly against Jane Schoenbraun’s slasher movie Teenage Sex and Death at Camp Miasma at the box office. It will also debut in the same month as several high-profile movies like Anne Hathaway’s The End of Oak Street, Matthew McConaughey’s The Rivals of Amziah King, John Cena’s Coyote vs. Acme, and Jacob Elordi’s The Dog Stars. The Ice Cream Man will star Ari Millen , Benjamin Byron Davis , Dylan Hawco , Sarah Abbott , Kiori Mirza Waldman, and Charlie Zeltzer , along with Thanksgiving stars Shiloh O’Reilly, Karen Cliche, and Charlie Storey. Also rounding out the cast is Roth, who is also serving as a producer. The movie is directed by Roth, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Noah Belson. Executive producers are MCT’s Kevin Frakes, Connor DiGregorio, Eli Massillon, and Lorenzo Antonucci, and The Horror Section’s Jon Schnaars and Holly Adams. The movie is produced by Media Capital Technologies’ Christopher Woodrow and Raj Singh, alongside Kate Harrison for Cream Productions. It will also feature a score by Emmy Award-winning composer Brandon Roberts, with additional music by. Besides Snoop Dogg, another rap icon is also involved in the film in the form of Grammy winner Nas, who is set as an executive producer through his Mass Appeal outfit.
