A strong cold front rolled through this morning.

CLEVELAND, Ohio - A strong cold front rolled through this morning. Low pressure will ride along the front east of our area this afternoon. A southwest wind will gust over 45 mph at times today. Temperatures crash into the 30s later this afternoon.

Snow develops this afternoon. Areas south and east of Cleveland could pick up a few inches of snow. Lesser amounts in Cleveland and points west. A west wind will still gust over 45 mph at times. Lake-effect snow will be in the area from Lake Michigan and Lake Erie. Locally over 2″ of additional snow will be possible east of Cleveland. Early morning temperatures 20 to 25 degrees.A cold St. Patrick’s Day this year. The high will only be 25 to 30 degrees. A west wind will gust up to 30 mph at times. Wind chills 10 to 20 degrees. Scattered snow showers around.
