In his latest video, Felix shared: 'Now he's three years old, and we feel like it's a good time to end the vlogs.
'If he wants to be part of it, that should be his choice later. ' Marzia added: 'We just feel like the vlogs put too much pressure on his appearance online. ' Felix, 36, and wife Marzia, who wed in 2019, started documenting their family move to Japan in 2022 and have grown a greater following since. Despite the vlogs ending, the couple explained they will still be living in Japan and thanked fans for their amazing support.
'The outpouring of love and support made us really, really want to continue doing the vlogs', he said. Felix has not announced any plans to stop creating content generally but only the decision to stop vlog specific format that involved son Björn. Whether his channel shifts back towards gaming, Felix didn't address how his channel will continue.
Back in February 2017, Disney cut ties with the YouTuber after he featured a man holding a 'Death to all Jews' sign in one of his videos.
'I'm sorry, I didn't think they would actually do it,' PewDiePie told his viewers in a clip. 'I feel partially responsible. It might just be my crude sense of humor, but I think there's something funny about that.
' Seven months later, in September 2017, Felix was caught shouting the N-word during a live stream of himself playing the multiplayer online shooting game Playerunknown's Battlegrounds. 2019 saw a resurgence in popularity for PewDiePie, despite losing his crown as the most subscribed channel to Bollywood sensation T-Series following six years at the top before reclaiming the top spot, and later losing it again. But he still accumulated four billion views in 2019 as well as gaining 22 million subscribers and making the second most-liked video on the site - his wedding video which totalled 4.7 million likes. All this gave him the title of the most-watched and subscribed YouTuber of 2019, according to Youtube's Rewind. It comes after YouTube power couple Zoe Sugg and Alfie Deyes took a hiatus from the streaming service as they want to focus on their family.
The couple are known for sharing every aspect of their lives – from moving house to becoming pregnant and getting engaged – with their millions of followers online. So after 16 years of constant updates, it’s no surprise that Zoe and Alfie's fans have become concerned by their sudden three month break from social media.
'We miss the “Zalfie” family,’ one wrote. ‘Starting to get worried about you all,’ said another. Zoe became famous on the back of her blog and YouTube channel in 2012, growing a beauty and lifestyle channel into a multi-million-pound brand Zoella. She became Britain’s first YouTube millionaire and Forbes Magazine declared her the most powerful beauty vlogger in 2017.
Zoe also started Zoella Beauty, which sold bath, body and beauty products for five years until the company was dissolved in 2019. She started dating fellow YouTuber Alfie, better known as Pointless Blog, in 2012 and soon they were one of the UK internet’s most prominent couples. They were also part of the Brit Crew, a highly influential group of nine British YouTubers, among them Caspar Lee and Tanya Burr, who were popular in the early-to-mid 2010s.
But now, sources say that ‘Zoe is ready to give it all up and focus on family life'. Zoe, 35, and Alfie, 32, live in Brighton with their two daughters – Ottilie, born in August 2021, and Novie who followed in December 2023. They got engaged in September 2023 after more than ten years together and are yet to tie the knot
