“AOC flies private to her ‘Fight the Oligarchy’ rallies, so, yeah, slightly hypocritical when she pays $15,000 an hour to fly private and then talks about how billionaires are the problem,” Concha said on Fox Business’s“It creates a service where you can get a package within two or three hours the next day,” he said. “It has changed the way the entire world shops that helps everybody who sells products on Amazon.
” Concha pushed back on Ocasio-Cortez’s criticisms, highlighting how billionaires have a positive impact.
“Billionaires aren’t the problem as AOC thinks they are,” he said. “They make the world better. They made our lives better. ” Bezos argued in an interview with CNBC that increasing taxes for billionaires would not help everyday people.
“The AOC and Bernie Sanders of the world don’t understand that,” he said. “They don’t care to understand that because they think taxing the rich solves problems, it’s quite the opposite. “As we’ve seen in New York, California, Illinois, the rich will leave those states and go to places where there are no income taxes. ”
