A high-speed pursuit ended dramatically Wednesday evening when a police K-9 brought down a fleeing suspect following a multi-vehicle collision.
BROOK PARK , Ohio - A high-speed pursuit ended dramatically Wednesday evening when a police K-9 brought down a fleeing suspect following a multi-vehicle collision. Brook Park police said officers attempted to stop Bradley Lester , 39, for outstanding warrants on theft charges, but Lester fled in his Ford truck.
Lester lost control and crashed into a Ram 1500 at the intersection of Sheldon and Fry Roads, injuring two passengers in the vehicle, said police.K-9 Murph was deployed and quickly tacked Lester to the ground. Lester was bitten during the apprehension and was treated by emergency personnel at the scene.
