Pope Leo XIV is scheduled to visit the southern Italian town of Acerra, known as the Terra dei Fuochi or Land of Fires, on Saturday. The visit comes on the eve of the 11th anniversary of Pope Francis' environmental encyclical Laudato Si, and it indicates LEO's interest in carrying on his predecessor's environmental agenda.
