Hendricks is set to portray internationally famous singer Davina Knight, whose latest song sparks controversy after accusing her former husband, Billy, of abusive behavior. The accusations quickly trigger a fierce public dispute after he responds with claims of his own, turning the former couple’s private conflict into a popular courtroom and media spectacle. Harris will play Lena, a respected lawyer drawn into the increasingly volatile case as she represents Davina during the legal fight.
According to the official description, “The case is fought far beyond the courtroom, as PR machines are deployed, laws are bent and social media platforms become judge, jury and battleground — driving outrage for clicks and warping the truth. ” In addition to Harris and Hendricks, the cast includes Alex Jennings, David Gyasi, Emily Atack, Kyle Soller, Tilly Keeper, Corey Johnson, and Enzo Cilenti, among others.
