Kempower and Blink Charging are partnering to install 92 new EV charging stations across 14 locations, focusing on high-traffic areas with convenience stores for convenient charging.

The EV charger companies Kempower and Blink Charging are collaborating to install 92 new EV charging ports at 14 stations. Two sites are already operating and a dozen more will be built in East Coast states in 2026.

The two sites already operating are Vasa Fitness in Colorado and Idaho Falls in Idaho. Each new charging station is or will be located near a convenience store where there are also high traffic levels and provide Kempower Power Units and Satellite fast chargers.

“Kempower technology is designed to deliver reliable, scalable, and user-friendly fast charging, and the new sites with Blink showcase how high-performance infrastructure can seamlessly support drivers’ everyday routines. There is a lot of exciting work ahead with Blink as we work together to make sustainable transportation more accessible for everyday drivers,” In the US, public EV charging infrastructure continues to expand despite certain politicians who oppose electric vehicles.

Federal funding has been flowing to some states to expand public fast-charging infrastructure as envisioned by former President Biden. At the same time, there have been more and more public EV chargers installed at retail sites such as Walmart, Kroger, Love’s, Sheets, Wawa, and Shoprite. Electric vehicles have a refueling advantage over gas and diesel vehicles — they can be charged while their owners do other activities. EV owners can charge and shop at the same time.

They can work out and charge at the same time. They can check out books at a local public library and charge at the same time. They can work and charge at the same time. EV recharging also does not expose EV drivers to toxic chemicals and fumes that gas and diesel vehicles drivers are exposed to when they fill up at gas stations.

Of course, most EV charging happens at home for the EV owners who have single-family homes and their own home chargers. Charging at home is far more convenient than refueling at a gas station and it is safer because sometimes crimes are committed at gas stations.
