Millie Mackintosh discusses her time on Made In Chelsea, revealing the fabricated lifestyle portrayed on the E4 show and her public transport journey to the west London set, accidentally ending up in the Bentley filmed for the show.
Millie Mackintosh has dismissed the affluent 'lifestyle' portrayed on Made In Chelsea as 'fabricated' and says she travelled to the west London set on public transport after being cast entirely by accident.
The TV personality, 36, became a household name after landing a prominent role in the hugely popular E4 show in 2011, with her personal life played out to cameras across five series' before her eventual departure. She recalled filming in a Bentley and attending glamorous night-spots.
In contrast, her day-to-day reality was different, and she was cast on the show through her friends. Her time on the show also contributed to an over-reliance on alcohol. Now four years sober, Millie says her decision to give up drinking and end her relationship with her first husband were factors in her decision to leave the show. She made the decision when she met someone new and knew their relationship wouldn't be filmed.
The TV personality subsequently married rapper Professor Green at Somerset venue Babington House
