There’s a Bruce Springsteen concert, two Cavaliers playoff games, a Guardians game and the 22nd Annual Firefighters Memorial Ride. Parking will be restricted from 4 p.m. Friday to midnight Monday.

One fan told us, “We decided it’s never worth coming to the venue. When we’re in Chicago, we go to the United Center, we take the bus.
We never, ever drive to those venues. It’s just craziness.
““Parking we thought would be a problem and stuff,” a concertgoers said. Downtown special event parking zones will be activated for Cavaliers and Guardians games this weekend, the city said. In these temporary zones, on-street parking will cost $8 per hour, starting two hours before an event and remaining in effect until the event ends or 10 p.m., whichever comes first.
The city says updated rates will appear in ParkMobile, and drivers can pay in the app, online, by phone, or at pay stations where available. In the Flats East Bank, the city says new rideshare pickup zones have been established to improve safety and traffic flow. The zones will be active seasonally Friday and Saturday nights from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m. Officials say visitors should look for posted signage on Old River Road and West 10th Street.
The city says all closures and enforcement times may change depending on traffic volume, and decisions will be made with public safety in mind. For emergencies, call 911.
