Chris Etheridge is preparing to retire after 32 years with the Dothan Fire Department.
DOTHAN, Ala. - Deputy Fire Chief Chris Etheridge is preparing to retire after 32 years with the Dothan Fire Department . Dothan city commissioners honored Etheridge Tuesday morning, recognizing three decades of service to the community.
Fire Chief David Hasty called him a cornerstone of the department and someone who has pushed the Dothan Fire Service forward for generations.
“Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to do my dream job for 32 years. To serve the citizens of Dothan is all I’ve ever wanted to do,” Etheridge said.
