The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a multi-car crash Thursday afternoon left one person dead and two others hurt.
AUSTINBURG TOWNSHIP, Ohio - The Ohio State Highway Patrol says a multi-car crash Thursday afternoon left one person dead and two others hurt. According to the highway patrol, the crash happened around 5:15 p.m. in the area of State Route 307 and and Windsor-Mechanicsville Road in Austinburg Township.
Troopers say a Ford Transit, driven by Paul King and carrying a 77-year-old woman from Newton Falls, failed to stop at a stop sign at State Route 307. The Ford then collided with a Toyota Tacoma, causing the Toyota to overturn, according to the highway patrol. Paul King died on scene of the crash. Troopers added the woman inside the Ford first went to University Hospitals in Geneva and has since been flown to the Cleveland facility.
According to the highway patrol, first responders took the 63-year-old Jefferson man driving the Toyota to University Hospitals Geneva Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries. Parma woman arrested after leaving puppy inside vehicle while visiting Cedar Point
