“Apparently, Lydia and Zac have been sitting people down and telling them that they don’t approve of how they’re living their lives, and that’s kind of hard,” Kim, 53, confesses in’s exclusive sneak peek at the Tuesday, June 2, episode of the TLC series.
“I just want to hear Lydia’s perspective on it. ” Kim follows through with her plan during a road trip with Lydia, revealing, “What I heard is that you two said toKim, however, continues to tell Lydia what she’s heard from her older sister Moriah, 23, whom Lydia and Zac, 24, recently visited in Montana.
“You didn’t approve of the games that she plays, like, the raunchy card game and the movies or TV that she watches. That it ‘doesn’t honor God,’” Kim recalls.

“Moriah probably would have been my maid of honor if she was here , but she was, you know, just going through a lot,” Lydia, 21, exclusively told Us Weekly She admits that after seeing some things she and Zac didn’t necessarily approve of, she brought it to her sister’s attention — which is what Kim was later told about. “Moriah having the alcohol there, I just wanted to bring it up to Moriah of, like, ‘Just be aware, you know, like, Amber is a minor still,’” Lydia recalls.
“And someone turned on a show that had more F-bombs in one episode than I hear at work in a week. ”When it comes to the card game in question, Lydia says it was “another instance” where she was “not feeling considered” by the others in the group.
“I would never in a million years read out loud what it says on this card,” Lydia tells the cameras, noting that she is morethan some of her siblings and therefore Moriah should’ve been more considerate with her choice of fun and games. Kim Plath hasn’t been seeing eye to eye with daughter Lydia Plath since her divorce from Barry Plath, but their upcoming Welcome to Plathville heart-to-heart might change that.
“Whenever I talked to you, I just felt like there was — I was talking to a brick wall,” Lydia, 22, confesses to her mom, 53, in Lydia confirms that “these things did bother us,” referring to her and her husband, who fans remember waited until their wedding day to share their first kiss despite criticism from her brothers. (Lydia’s eldest brother,“We thought it’d be nice, you know, if there was less of it,” Lydia concludes, seemingly standing by her and Zac’s remarks about Moriah’s way of life.
