He responded to the reporter's question asking them to imagine that the city could expedite work licenses for migrants and asylum seekers for jobs that are in high demand. Deputy Mayor Anne Williams-Isom said there has been over 197,100 migrants that have arrived in New York City and 50,00 applications for asylum.
