Stellantis' commercial vehicle unit, Pro One, announced a futuristic autonomous delivery concept to be revealed at IAA Hannover in September, described as a zero-emission 'box-on-wheels' with a skateboard platform and digital display. The unit aims to rethink last-mile delivery, reduce costs through full autonomy, and become the world's #1 commercial vehicle company by 2030. Pro One also revealed plans to launch 11 new models globally by 2030, including next-gen medium and large vans with hybrid, combustion, and electric powertrains, focusing on hybrid solutions. Additionally, four product renewals are planned, featuring updated small vans, a renewed global compact van, and two new electric variants with LFP and NMC batteries. The goal includes a 30% sales growth to around 2.145 million annual units.

Stellantis Pro One apparently felt left out, so they’re tooting their own horn and teasing an upcoming concept. The model will be unveiled at IAA Hannover in September and is being billed as an autonomous “box-on-wheels. ”That’s an apt description as the concept looks like a futuristic transport pod. As you can see, the box-like concept has an angular roof and wheels pushed to the outside edges.
It appears to ride on a skateboard-like platform and feature a digital display. That’s not much to go on, but the company said the concept will be zero emission and rethink last-mile delivery. It also promises to streamline operations and significantly reduce operating costs by being fully autonomous. Besides the concept, Stellantis Pro One announced plans to launch 11 new models globally by 2030.
