British singer Sienna Spiro has revealed that the Coronavirus pandemic caused her to develop a lifelong issue with food, which she has been struggling with since she rose to fame on TikTok in 2021. Sienna, 20, has spoken out about her body image struggles and how she has been trying to overcome them. She has also been added to this year's Forbes 30 Under 30 list, alongside other young stars in the entertainment industry.
Sienna Spiro has revealed that the Coronavirus pandemic caused her to have a lifelong issue with food as she opened up about overcoming her body image struggles on Wednesday.
The British singer found fame in 2021 after going viral on TikTok which allowed her to sign to a record label and leave school at 16. However, just before her career kicked off, Sienna explained that she had issues with food which were amplified in 2020 by the pandemic. Sienna stressed that not being able to go outside and socialise with other young people really affected her and stopped her from 'figuring' herself out.
Speaking to Rolling Stone UK, Sienna said: 'I'll be transparent: I really struggled with food and the way I saw myself. I've never felt connected to my body.
' Sienna revealed that she struggled to find her style when she was skyrocketed into the public eye and 'hated' being 'seen' by people. I've never felt connected to my body' She continued: 'When I started doing more performances or doing pictures, I couldn't figure out how I wanted to dress and how I wanted to look.
'I hated the idea of people being able to see me and perceive me. So I used to wear bigger clothing and I didn't really do anything with myself because I was figuring myself out.
' The London-born artist broke into the singles top ten for the first time in November with her song Die On This Hill. And earlier this year she was announced as a nominee for the BRITs Critics' Choice Awards, without even dropping a studio album. She may have missed out on the award to Scottish singer Jacob Alon, but there is no doubt Sienna is one to watch out for in 2026.
Sienna has also been added to this year's Forbes 30 Under 30 list. The 2026 roll call features an impressive cohort of up and coming sports stars, entertainment icons and self-driven business gurus, as young as 15 years old, and boasting a combined 291 million followers across their platforms. In the Sports and Games category, familiar faces include Red Roses star and Rugby World Cup winner Ellie Kildunne as well as Arsenal scoring sensation Eberechi Eze.
Elsewhere, 20-year-old Sienna ranked among one of the youngest breakout stars in the Entertainment category, alongside 16-year-old Owen Cooper, who made history as the youngest male Emmy winner for his role in Adolescence. I'm a Celeb and Loose Women star Grace Keeling, better known as GK Barry, also leads the pack among the Media and Marketing world, while Molly-Mae Hague became the first Love Island star to land a place on this year's coveted list
